The INTERMEDIATE Level Challenge

The Harmony Challenge

 

In this challenge it is required to harmoniously perform all ten Harmony Training exercises of ones current level within one minute. This is not an easy challenge at any level of training, but it does represent a significant milestone of achievement.

 

Once successful, the challenge is not to perform the exercises in less time, but to use the extra time granted to improve movement quality and overall harmony. For this reason the challenge looks easier the more one practices. The exercises, however do not get easier, rather you get better.

 

This challenge is effective in internalizing the harmonious movements because the only way to succeed is by not thinking about the movement elements.

 

The one-minute routine can also serve as a quick full-body warm up before vigorous activities like running and playing golf or tennis and also as an objective reflection of ones current functional physical ability.
