Human Harmony

Human Harmony is a novel standing body-mind method, which teaches harmonious movement foundations while building a beautiful, fit and comfortable body. The creation of the Harmony Training exercises was inspired by:

  • Natural human movements

  • The regular dog and cat stretch

  • CoreAlign exercises

There are 30 Human Harmony exercises, together representing the body's natural ability to move efficiently and safely. The exercises do not use any purpose made accessories besides a waist-height counter or a wall. Each of the exercises is either basic, intermediate or advanced so everyone can get a fair challenge.

Each Human Harmony exercise is a learning experience at start, requiring cognitive practice until the harmonious movements become internalized and automatic.

Emphasis is placed on training all the movement components of the body to work in synergy, creating quality harmonious postures and movements.

With practice, Human Harmony exercises are mastered and performed harmoniously. For this, the body develops good movement foundations, a good look and a good feel. The purpose of this method is to provide users with a fit body capable of safely enjoying the vigorous activities of a good life in the modern world.

In the musculoskeletal setting, Human Harmony exercises serve as a functional test as well as part of the intervention techniques. The ability to perform the exercises at a certain level can be used to set goals for discharge or for safe physical activities after injury.

Exercises that are not enjoyable, or are not performed harmoniously should be corrected or stopped. If pain or discomfort occurs during practice, or if any of the exercises cannot be performed harmoniously for any reason, professional assistance is recommended.

The Human Harmony exercises are progressive:

  • Harmony BASIC exercises (1a-10a) are safest and easiest. This series was designed to be appropriate for beginners, for rehabilitation and as a warm up for the more advanced exercises.

  • Harmony INTERMEDIATE exercises (1b-10b) lead users from poor movement foundations to good movement foundations. This level serves as a solid bridge from injury to health.

  • Harmony ADVANCED exercises (1c-10c) represents a healthy and fit body. Maintaining this level of training on a regular basis is key to enjoy a younger looking and feeling body for years ahead.

When using Human Harmony, progression is balanced and even. Initially, the ten basic exercises are learned, then the ten intermediate ones and only then the advanced exercises are tackled.

Supervised training can either be with a professional teacher or with a peer who already masters the Foundation Training exercises and is willing to help. This can be done in person or via video link.

Daily self-practice is required to internalize the harmonious movements and stay fit, just like dogs and cats stretch every day to keep their movements.

Human Harmony intends to improve body awareness, postures, balance and functional movements. For a complete workout, additional aerobic cardiovascular training is required. For this reason, the Harmony Training exercises and the Fun Machine are introduced as one package. For safety, performance and full enjoyment, Harmony Training exercises are used as a warm-up before training on the Fun Machine.

Practicing Human Harmony and the Fun Machine for a combined 30 minutes every day (or more...) is sufficient to join the prestigious rank of people who lead a regular active lifestyle.

Not only will practicing these methods regularly reduce body fat, they will also sculpture a beautiful, strong and young body.

Many people already combine training movement harmonizing methods like yoga, Pilates or CoreAlign with fun activities like running, climbing, soccer or dancing. If you already feel happy with you body, you do not need advice from this site! You are already doing the right thing.
