As the Harmony Exercises represent functional human movements, success in performing the 10 Harmony ADVANCED exercises harmoniously indicates a fully functioning fit body.
People involved in physical activities, like athletes and dancers require movement foundations to match. This is important to enhance performance and to increase safety alike. When relevant movement foundations are lacking (for what ever reason), injuries are prone. It is therefore logical to combine Foundation Exercises with any upright body sport.
During training, the basic and intermediate exercises of each chain are used to 'reset' the timing and as a warm up for the advanced exercises.
The ability to perform the 10 Harmony ADVANCED exercises harmoniously in one minute (The 'Ten in One' Challenge) can also be used as an accurate indication to whether a person has an adequately functioning body, or a body prone to injury during physical activity.
Once the Harmony ADVANCED exercises can be performed harmoniously, they should be practiced daily, like a human version of a dog stretch.
For a healthy active lifestyle, HArmony Training exercises should be practiced in addition to regular aerobic training like the Fun Machine.
